“Pegasus” Jockey & Alpine Club located in Igoumenitsa, operates in the area of the Prefecture of Thesprotia. The aim of the club is to attract new friends, bring young people closer to horse riding and offer them an incentive to approach nature in general Over the last years, the club has had an ascending course because more and more people take part to the Club’s events.

Also, the Club attends many events and occasions in and outside the Prefecture as well as celebrations (e.g. the celebrations of Souli
-Giortes Souliou etc) . For six years now, the Annual National Hellenic Meeting of Horse-Riding is organized in Drepano Beach during the summer. The celebration lasts three days. All Jockey Clubs as well as some individuals attend the meeting.
