To the left of Paramythia, at the positions “Limponi“,”Hamdi“ and”Valsamari” the remains of Fotiki, one of the greatest cities of the ancient and medieval continent, are found. St. Diadohos, Bishop of Fotiki during the 5th century AD is well known from the scriptures of the Holy Fathers of the Orthodox Church. In the area of Fotiki, temples of the city dating from the early Christian period are identified and excavated continuously and highlight one of the most important archaeological sites of Thesprotia.
